CAPS Ontario Announces Scholarship Collaboration with On Seven Estate Winery

CAPS Ontario is proud to partner with On Seven Estate Winery to support the next generation of Ontario wine professionals through a new education-focused scholarship initiative.

On Seven Estate Winery, recognized for its pursuit of excellence and dedication to crafting memorable Niagara Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, has long championed the connection between Ontario wineries and the province’s dynamic food and beverage industry. In alignment with this vision, On Seven is offering a $1,000 scholarship to an aspiring professional pursuing formal, accredited wine education.

In addition to financial support, the scholarship includes a full-day immersive experience at On Seven Estate Winery, offering mentorship, regional insight, and firsthand exposure to Ontario’s wine-growing excellence.

This collaboration reinforces:

  • On Seven’s commitment to education, advocacy, and excellence in Ontario wine
  • CAPS Ontario’s role as a hub for professional development and industry opportunity
  • The shared goal of empowering future leaders in the wine and hospitality community

In order to be eligible, you must currently enrolled in a formal wine education program (CAPS, WSET, MS, CMS etc.) to apply for the scholarship. Proof of enrolment will be requested prior to the disbursement of funds.

Applications are now open and will be accepted until October 31st.

This initiative is designed to foster professional growth, elevate the profile of Ontario wines, and support individuals who are committed to advancing the region’s reputation through education and advocacy.
